Our Core Values

The dental industry is all about teeth, right? Wrong! At least not at Smile Shoppe Pediatric Dentistry. We focus on the whole patient and not simply the teeth. Since we know we are working with the future leaders and difference-makers of the world, we have made it our mission to inspire the next generation of confident smiles. We have identified six core values to help us achieve our mission everyday. Our Core Values are exemplified each day in the four walls of our offices but also in our communities away from our workplace.

Our Core Values

We put the patient’s needs first.
We treat all children with compassion and respect.

We have integrity in all areas of life.
We do the right thing even though it may not be the easiest.

We are an honest and authentic team.
We value all team members because we know we can accomplish more together than apart.

We approach every day with a positive attitude.
We don’t let our environment influence our enthusiasm. Rather, our enthusiasm influences our environment.

We laugh hard, loud and often.
Nothing is more fun than serving with people you love.

We always bring our best.
Excellence honors and inspires others.

We put the patient’s needs first.

We treat all children with compassion and respect.

Compassion is not a virtue – it is a commitment. It’s not something we have or don’t have – it’s something we choose to practice. —Brene Brown

Our patients come first. We are willing and ready to adapt to whatever a patient might need for instill them with confidence. We see past the mouth and treat each patient’s whole-self. When a child is overly anxious or frightened in our office, we consider all possibilities.

Whether this is wearing a red razorback nose to mimic the “piggy nose” during operative treatment or singing silly songs while we clean their teeth we pull out all the stops for our kids! Our team is dedicated to figuring out how to treat every patient with the compassion and respect the deserve.

Even though we are a dental office, this might mean their oral needs are not the first priority! It might be in the child’s best interest to address the emotional and mental needs prior to their dental needs. We provide the care that is best for our patients and your family, instead of the care that is most profitable for our office. We want your child to love the dentist and pass that love and excitement down to their children as well.

To inspire generation after generation it starts with compassion and respect.
