We Have Integrity in All Areas of Life
We do the right thing even though it may not be the easiest.
choosing what is right over what is fun, fast, or easy;
and choosing to practice our values rather than simply professing them.”
- Brene Brown
Integrity is defined as being honest and having strong moral principles. Some people might define integrity as doing the right thing when others are not watching. Whether we are in the shadows or in the spotlight, our commitment to do the right thing never wavers.
We like to say we run on kid time. Integrity in all situations might mean we have to give a little more TLC to our nervous patients. While it might be easier to force a child through a procedure, we are committed to doing the work of talking a patient through what they are experiencing, allowing them to leave our office more confident than when they arrived. Through our integrity of bypassing the “easy” route, we hope our patients will pass along their confidence to others.
Whether we are taking responsibility for our mistakes or encouraging a young patient through a dental fear, we know taking the extra time will benefit our patients in the long run. There is no “one size fits all” plan so we spend the time to get to know every family that walks through our door. We discover what your goals are and work with you to accomplish those goals.
Working with kids, there is always an easy way out. We know this as practitioners, and as parents ourselves. We will not settle for this easy out. We will do the right thing for every patient regardless of the time it takes, the resources it requires, and the patience we must tap into! We hope you will allow us the privilege to walk with your family through this commitment.
